Dia is a GTK+ based diagram creation program for Linux, Unix and Windows released under the GPL license.
Dia is roughly inspired by the commercial Windows program 'Visio', though more geared towards informal diagrams for casual use. It can be used to draw many different kinds of diagrams. It currently has special objects to help draw entity relationship diagrams, UML diagrams, flowcharts, network diagrams, and many other diagrams. It is also possible to add support for new shapes by writing simple XML files, using a subset of SVG to draw the shape.

Lekh Diagram’s powerful and unique shape recognition engine can recognize various shapes and connections. Draw shapes and connections by dragging your finger on ipad and the Lekh Diagram will recognize drawing and will convert them magically into beautiful shapes.

ASCIIGraffiti makes editing ASCII art easy, ASCIIGraffiti is a web-based ASCII art editor application for creating color ASCII-style drawings within your browser. Art can be exported to plain text, ANSI color coded, mIRC color coded, and HTML color coded formats.
